Toby Henshin is the protagonist of Big Boy Now. He really hates childhood. He's too smart and struggles a lot with ADHD. He has his whole future mapped out and knows he wants to follow in his father's footsteps of joinging the MDF - Modelcity Defence Force - a pilot a mech to fight monsters. But school just keeps getting in the way. He basically just wants to wait out childhood and grow up.

But when he discovers the ability to transform into Big Boy, he reconnects with what it means to be a kid. By growing giant, he appreciates what time he still has left to be small, to play, to have imagination.

Unfortunately, Big Boy becomes his father's arch-nemesis. Things are about to get very awkward.
