Asi continues to be raring to go, Nera has other plans. Played around with the shadows behind the glass thing here, hope the silhouettes were clear enough to understand what's going on.
In other news, saw the Superman movie last night. Not gonna go too in-depth and no specific spoilers, but if I had to describe this movie as anything it'd be specifically "comic book superhero" superhero movie. Like if you took modern superhero movies of the last 15 years and combined it with saturday morning cartoons superhero concepts. There's a lot of ham and goofiness involved with the plot and villain, all while remaining 100% straight-faced. I actually think it works, it makes for some very entertaining scenes while still retaining a very menacing and worthy villain. I've always said the hardest part of making Superman content is the writing, how do you give flaws to a character who has practically every power? James Gunn's approach is to make his weakness his human and emotional side, his stance on politics and right vs wrong, and again I think this is a very smart way to do it. This is also a very campy Superman, so much more like how you'd see him in the comics vs Zach Snyder's stuff, which I thought was pretty charming. The movie still has plenty of flaws; a lot of characters means not enough time for everyone to be fleshed out, the beginning is very fast paced and throws you right into things, and the cinematography is kinda nuts. Lots of close-up extreme motion camera shots that lurch back n forth, which is actually pretty unique and cool to watch but can be a bit jarring at times. Overall, definitely recommend seeing it, it's a good time.
