WIP - Jackals & Batteries (01-22 Concepts) **SPOILERS**

Here are the results of the past week’s worth of “thumb-nailing” that will comprise the first arc of Jackals and Batteries. These first pages introduce several new characters, including Xill, Maeko and Kaera!

From the little sketches you can see the general storyline, which I’m hoping kind of makes sense even without dialog and at this initial concept stage.

 There’s also a page of rough doodles to show how some of the panels begin before I actually sort them into their pages...sometimes it’s easier to draw the entire pose first, then place it into a panel and see how you can crop it to fit into the “puzzle” of the comic page.

Making the two threads of the initial arc, Tsenaya and Maeko’s, mesh together properly is going to be a bit of a challenge, with the scene switch-over being done with dialog and not visually, but I’m thinking it’ll be a smooth enough transition to make sense with the way the scenes are written.
