Development Update 02.05.2025
Hello everyone, welcome to this week's progress report.
Level:
Our level team was busy on many fronts this week, we are continuing the Adûn A-blockout, as well as updating the X_Props and implementing their materials and textures. We also updated the Warrior Village with a new House and made some WIP Tree Scatter tests for the Pillar Region.

Code:
The flying drop-kick feature is getting close to completion. The only missing elements are some animation handling, NPC behavior in regards to the drop-kick, and general code cleanup.
In the sandbox, aside from fixing a few older bugs, we added the ability to override the physics constraint preset of characters, which can be useful for both making the breasts softer/stiffer with existing clothing or while being undressed, as well as enabling constraints while wearing custom imported clothes.
Character:
The character department has been busy supporting our other departments
Animations:
In the animation department, we continued our work of transferring combat animations over to all humanoid characters, giving them exhausted, attack and shock staggers. We also supported Game Design in implementing the flying drop-kick move, which Maya can use to swoop down on enemies and enter ground combat from flight. Lastly on the combat side, we started work on the sword move set.
We also fully started animation production for the Max x Kenda x Kenda minigame.
Our cutscenes continue to progress in the motion capture data cleanup, currently we are polishing all the main-story cutscenes to get them to a consistent state.
Design:
On the combat front, we worked on implementing Maya’s flying dropkick move as well as the hammer moveset for the Minotaur characters.
We also continued working on the game design elements for the desert zone such as water and safe zones. Further, we continued work on making the character sheets for all our NPCs so our new writer has all the relevant information he needs.
Thank you for all your continued support,
-Wild Life Team
