Timelapse and Introspection: "V&M #41: That Funny Feeling"

OOF, ok so I kinda goofed up a bit here. I kept trying out different ideas for how Mona's pose should be in panel 2, but I couldn't settle on one that I liked - so I kept hitting "Undo" to start over again and again. Apparently, I hit "Undo" so much that I actually undid the "Record", and it was no longer recording until I realized this about 10 minutes later ;_;

Thankfully, this only skips the basic sketchwork for the first two panels and then its back to normal. I gotta admit, I've been trying to put a little more effort into my backgrounds (just to have shit actually there for visual interest), but I'm kinda finicky with it and it's been gobbling up time in the latter half of comic development, despite being literal basic-ass blocks. I gotta figure out a simple way to get some flat background elements going on without wasting too much time on it. I might try some Opacity stuff in the next one.

Also, that white "BANG" effect in panel 5 is apparently called a Beta Flash! I found a nice default one for Clip Studio Paint and thankfully, I accidentally bought CSP several months ago, so yay! Finally getting some value out of that mistake.
