Review:
NappleMill at it AGAIN with yet another beautiful pixel adventure, continuing the success of the Kabopuri series with another instant HIT on DLsite!
Granted, there are games that performed with far better sales on release, but both titles selling together over 4k units within 24 hours is nothing to scoff at.
Especially showing the faith people have given back, wanting more content of the pumpkin land girls.
So an introduction for those of you who aren't familiar with the Kabopuri series:
Napplemill created a series of 2D action platformers, featuring two different heroines in two different versions of the same title.
Kind of like how Pokémon releases 2 different versions every time.
The stages, enemies, and bosses, are exactly the same in both versions.
The difference is the heroine you play as, which means different character gameplay and story, but most importantly - different and unique H interactions with each enemy!
Being a sequel, I'll cut some of the chase and focus at the main features instead.
For more background on the two prequels, check out my (criminally short) Kabopuri 1, and Kabopuri 2 reviews.
?️ Gameplay:
Lets take out the big elephant out of the room so we can move on - the jank.
Yes, the series was never known for its super precise and tight controls.
At this point I believe it is safe to assume we'll never live to see to the day where you don't get hit by an enemy's invisible aura, or getting stopped in your tracks when you slightly get grazed by a another hitbox.
As bad as it may sound, the jank is remedied with a very forgiving recovery pickups, and massive attack hitbox that doesn't really leave your enemies any chance of survival with a press of a button.
Comparing the two versions, I'd say that hands-down, the dancer is hella more fun to play, with combo moves, crazy mobility, and overall a much more fluid experience compared to the diva that is either slowed or rooted down by all of her moves.
? But nobody really plays Kabopuri for the gameplay, lets be real.
We have gathered here for the SICK pixel animations from the studio that never stops giving.
I've reviewed many pixel projects at this point, and I've seen some of the most incredible artworks out there.
But in terms of gameplay H integration and variety, Kabopuri in my eyes takes the lead every single time among all the 2D action platformers.
Lets start with the fact that since the first game, they already went past forcing the player to get assaulted if they want to enjoy the goods, which is common in most ACT titles.
With a little bit of grind of the above, you'll unlock a feature that lets you woo your enemies, and instantly view the animation. (without taking damage either)
Not to mention the fact that in this third installment, you unlock EVERYTHING in the stage's relevant gallery by simply beating it. Gone are the days where you must engage in intimacy with every single enemy.
This is how every H game should unlock content by the way.
The H scenes are more than just repeating loops. They all have multiple phases, with their own kinks, using each enemy's own characteristics to create an even more unique interaction between each act. (Lust spirit turning you into a tramp, giant zombie with extremely flexible D, body transformation, etc..)
The boss animations are also more invested, having at least 2 or more individual long phases, with their own respectable loops.
Needless to say, the artwork is pretty hot, and so are the different lewd themes used throughout the game.
As mentioned earlier, all of the scenes can be viewed at the gallery at your own leisure. I do wish we could at least change the black background though...
⚠️ Important notes:
- There is NO auto-save, so always make sure to speak to the slime girl at the hub to save your progress.
- You can set the difficulty to Easy mode, by speaking to the blue slime at the gallery.
- You can leave a stage at any point by holding up while standing still, and then pressing W. (has a sweet animation too!)
- Don't forget to check the Extra stage after beating the "Final" stage! Per the series' tradition, there's a sexy beach time waiting to be explored...

Saying I didn't expect a third sequel, given the success of the prequels would be a lie. But I was certainly caught positively surprised being blessed with such a quality release out of nowhere.
Kabopuri 3, and the series as a whole is simply a must get for any ACT fan out there.
This level of effort doesn't come by often. H games of the genre tend to cut dry on the lewd department, and even the high effort ones usually don't provide as much variety to justify their length.
Kabopuri 3, and the entire series by NappleMill, can be found on DLsite.
