Hey Beta Testers, I hope you’re all having a good day. Got a few new things to show you this update and then some other things I wanted to go over related to the feature focus poll and other things I intend to add so I’ll get right into it.

New Character Android 21

So this with this update comes a new character voted for by you in the most recent character poll. This one was a really close poll with it looking like 3 character could be in at a chance of winning but towards the end this settled down between Android 21 and Nico Robin who both were very close right until the end, however Android 21 did manage to beat Nico Robin by 110 points (After taking into account all the votes and their weighted votes based on the tier)

The Final Result For Those Two Was

Android 21 - 4692

Nico Robin - 4582

Now seeing as this was a very close battle I was thinking that if I get time next month I will try and also get Nico Robin added in. This isn’t a promise though as with the new feature focus and also the fact that next month will probably be a scene poll I may not have time to add her in but I will give it me best.

Anyway on to what you really want to see and that’s Android 21. I have managed to get a proper quest line done for her that kind of follows on from what you were talking to Android 18 about when you unlocked her and have also get her standing character drawn.

I also managed to get her added to a decent amount of scenes, I think 12 in total, but then I will get her added to the rest in the following update.

For her audio I also went all in and got around 120 seconds of audio added, spread across the Basic, Soft and Cr*ampie audio clips so hopefully there’s a nice wide range for you all.

Feature Focus Poll

This month has been crazy with the polls. First with he character poll being so close and now with the feature focus poll which last time I checked literally had 3 votes between the top two, those being the Outfit Focus and Scene Things Focus.

What I have decided to do for this depending how close they are at the end is try to get a bit from each, however I will be favouring which ever one wins so that it is far. For example if the Scene Things win I will be focusing on getting all the things I mentioned added to scenes but then leave a little bit of time to add the Unique Outfits Across All Characters part of the outfit focus as I think this would be an important part to get added in anyone not just for the outfits but for having multiple characters in scenes. If the Outfit Focus wins though I will get the Unique Outfits Across All Characters added and as many unique outfits as I can while leaving a bit of time to maybe add F*ta, Pr*g, Squ*rting Etc to one scene instead of multiple which I would have done if it wins.

Anyway that’s the plan for now as it is so close but let me know if there’s a better way I should do it and also keep in mind things could change as there are still 3 days left on that poll :D

Android 18 New Head

You may have seen this in the last WIP but I have ReDone Android 18’s head as it was one of the older heads I did so thought it needed to be redone. I was kind of looking forward to focusing on the for an update but unfortunately it didn’t win in the poll. Maybe one day but if not I will keep trying to get at least one head redone for the start of the month update and hopefully over time there will be a wide range of heads to you to select from.

Just like with the other heads I have ReDone you will still be able to use the old one if you prefer and it will use the old one by default until you choose a different one.

If you have any problems with this head texture wise or any bugs please let me know :)

I still have a lot more heads to do but I think the next one will either be a ReDo of Gwen TDI or Peach’s head but I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

New Outfits & New Outfit System

I’ll start with the new outfit system as that will probably be where any bugs lie if there are any. In preparation for the Unique Outfit Across All Characters feature I have had to make some changes to the way outfits are toggled on and off. I have done this only with the B*objob scene for now but will be adding this to all the scenes as time goes on. This new one will allow me to load outfits in and also add buttons for them that will let you toggle them on and off. This probably won’t come right away with the loading unique outfits across all characters but its just preparation for the future. That being said you may notice some performance benefits with this system right now when switching between outfits. It won’t be anything much and if you have a newer device it won’t have any noticeable difference but it will in the background be running smoother and using less CPU power which is always a good thing.

This update I have been focusing just on the B*objob scene as I want to get as many outfits added to this one as I think it will be the one I trial the new outfit feature with as there isn’t really to much other complex stuff in ti that could cause issues with the system i’m going to have to use to load these outfits in and it will be a nice way to just make sure everything is running smoothly.

However outfits for this scene do a take a bit longer than others due to the complexity and layering in the scene. So far I have managed to get 3 outfits done which I think is pretty good.

Hopefully between now and the Non Beta I will be able to get a couple more added then when the new outfit feature releases you should have a decent amount to pick from.

Adding Characters To Scenes

This update I have been focusing on the shower and the F*otjob scene to try and get as many characters added to them as I can and I think I have done decently well.

For the F*otjob I got 11 characters added and have Mirko, Ahsoka Etc ready to go, probably not this update but for sure next update.

For the shower I got 5 more characters added and will try and get 5 more done in time for the Non Beta, however even though this is less than what was added to the F*otjob I did get something else cool added which is a Soap texture that you can toggle on and off in the same way as the steam.

This is just a cool extra thing that hopefully makes the scene feel a bit better. If there’s any other things like this you think would be cool let me know and I can try and add them in.

Still Images

For the still images I had a lot of characters to pick from but from what I read the ones that people wanted were Tatsumaki and Roxy so for this one I have got Tatsumaki done so far and she is in this update.

And then for Roxy I have got her base colour done and she will be ready for the Non Beta. I think for the next update I will probably do one for Shego and one for Marceline and then follow on from there and see what other characters people want.

QOL & Performance Improvements To Come

For the QOL stuff this update it has been mainly getting code added in to the background ready for when new features get added. I’m doing this now just to make sure there are no problems with the code and then hopefully everything can run smoothly.

Now onto the more boring stuff, it has been a while since I have done any File Size and Performance Optimisation. I know this is a very boring thing that you probably aren’t interest in but if you are then I am going to be trying to do some of this while adding in the new features as they kind of overlap a bit so might as well get some done while I’m working on the new stuff.

These will be things like how long scenes take to load, file size and just overall improvements to how the game runs. I think the main thing that will be good about this is a file size reduction which is always a nice thing. Im not sure exactly how much this will reduce things by but I will have a better idea half way through next month when the mid month update comes out but im hoping it will be a decent amount.
