I'm back! Feeling reenergized and more educated about art! 

When I was in Amsterdam, I visited the Van Gogh Museum and seeing the art in person, being surrounded by his story and life. It was such a good experience for me. If you're an artist or interested in art, I really recommend going to museums to just remotivate and inspire you.
Also, Amsterdam itself was really, really nice; the people were amazing and polite. Everything was so clean, and because of the Christmas season, also beautifully decorated. I really recommend the city if you want to experience a European city or want to do a city trip.

I guess the only negative, or more like weird thing for me, was that the metro announcements in the trains were only in Dutch. Even in my little village back home, they have English announcements after the German ones. But because the names of every station are clearly displayed everywhere, it is easy to find the right stop.
