Day 15 of the Blue Sea Moon

I had come to the sneaking suspicion that my appetite had finally caught up to that of the queen's. 

It was on that day that we had decided to take a trip to the shore to show off our new wears that I had only purchased a month prior and already they had felt tight upon my growing body.

I had let my guard down, thinking myself the one with more self control for all this time, only to find that we cast similar shadows underneath a blazing sun.  We were here to find symbols of peace which she assured me also included our prosperous sillhouetes.

Hardly one to leave it to chance, the queen had further suggested we test my theory as we decided to sit upon either end of a childrens' see-saw, a surviving relic of the age before conflict and of simpler times.

I was stunned to find us in perfect balance...at least for the time being...
