Day 26 of the Lone Moon (March)

The Queen had certainly taken a shine to the new trade agreements which rapidly reflected upon her waistline. 

For a royal to demonstrate such vested interest in the farming techniques of her people was certainly a first, but hopefully marked the beginning of a new start for our people. 

Things had gone so well in fact that she had invited me to observe the process myself with the intention of sharing the palace with me for the entire duration of my stay. 

Some of my more stalwart advisors did warn me of this being a potential ploy to hold me hostage, but so long as the rice flows freely to the citizens, I shall take upon any risk.

Besides, it would give me a first had opportunity to document what double portions can do to the royal waistline…while also serving as a reminder to keep my own in check…
