Project X

I posted some WIPs with Annette earlier, but I'm now going to show off the project a little more formally now that it is near completion.

The idea here is that Ada stumbles across Annette Birkin's "research" with Mr X. It it meant to be very light on animation with her audio logs narrating the poster set. This is an experimental idea to try to spice up larger poster sets, and it allows for much more variety than an animation which would only have a few loops. The character might be fairly niche, but I'm interested in what people think of the format.

In total, the set is about 60 posters! Now to be fair, that is a little bigger than it sounds. It is more accurate to say there are about 20 core posters that were designed for the set. About 20 more posters are variants of those with different camera angles, outfit changes, and slight pose changes. The last 20 are more simple closeup type shots to help bulk out the set.

I have all the dialogue for Annette, and most of the project is paced out. I still need some of Ada's dialogue to complete it, but right now the project is over 4 minutes long.

The first few WIPs show off the design of the intro to the project itself, and the latter pictures are raw, unedited 4k renders of the actual posters. The entire poster set is effectively done. Almost half of them have been rendered already although none have been edited so far. The posters are rendered in Cycles, but the movie will likely have to be in Eevee.

Since the project is light on animation, I'd like to have this released within a few weeks.
