For One Pump Chump, there will be a lot more dialogue options than my previous games, tied to both mechanical consequences, gains in affection, and narrative consequences, the fate of certain characters.
While it won't be possible to completely fuck up and soft lock certain aspects of the game, I did want a sense of player agency and consequence. Inspired by Persona and Baldur's Gate 3. So there may be opportunities for you to attack dubious characters, or spare enemies, that may come back in positive or negative ways in the future, and there will be many event rewards and opportunities that'll be locked away from your playthrough based on your choices:

The three main stats are Might, Cunning and Wits, serving as a unique flavor for the oft seen trinity of Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. I wanted to used words to make it clear that Might also governs defense, Cunning also governs Charisma, and Wit is a mixture of Intelligence and Wisdom.
And with the main girl herself, you're mainly looking at affection increases:
Affection increases won't just unlock more advanced sex scenes, but also earn some of the game's main currency, 'Mag'. I like the idea of a magic currency that can be distributed as a reward for a variety of things. It wouldn't make sense to earn $10 for picking a certain option in a conversation, but Mag acts as a kind of inspiration currency.
