Drizzle Foot in Face Animation
Update: I'm just sending out this message to see if you all get update notifications for this post.
Final: And here is the final piece. These quasi 3d animations really get the fan on my computer spinning. X-D I think I'm gonna be investing in some new software this month called Live 2D. It's what the vtubers generally use for their models. Been wanting to learn it for a while and will be a bit easier to animate 2d images, plus not put as much strain on my computer as After Effects. does. Full rez version of this animation in the upload section.
Update 4: Working on some physics for Driz's hair.
Update 3: So here's something new. Using After Effects to make 2D drawings act like 3D objects. I've got a camera in AE, and Drizzle is set up with different parts of her at different distances closer and further from the camera. Mainly her foot and leg. As I pull the camera towards Drizzle, it gives the effect of 3D. I've also added in some depth of field, so that the blurring changes depending on how close and far away parts of her are from the camera.
Update 2: Got Drizzle all drawn and colored. Time to rig.
Update 1: Okay...let's get going with another animation. Rought drawing for Driz so far. This time around, I'm gonna use the fake 3D camera in After Effects to create some depth of field, and try and have her foot come toward the viewer.
