When designing my shots for this set, I practiced a thing called "Building for the Camera"
You can see as depending on how tight the shots are or where the camera is assets might shift. Or if I feel like the background is lacking, I'll add a prop. The moving truck for example.
On the last image, that's how the project looks most of the time when I'm working on it. Bald. The hair children are a drain on resources when I'm working and cause a massive slow down, so I turn it off. Hundreds of hours looking at bald women... weird.
The volumetric clouds and dust are another thing I keep off till it comes to render time. Though I like my CPU currently, I'll have to upgrade again so that processing the clouds is faster. It takes maybe 2 minutes with those clouds to become clear every time I preview it. That adds up very quickly over the course of a day.
