[study doodle ] real tactician hours

Using F!Robin for this was pretty much a spontanous decision that I ended up going with because her design with the top worked well for what I wanted to draw.

for this one I actually didn't use a photo pose reference as for most studies, I wnet and tried Clip studio's new recently added features and also just wanted to get my butt up to see how it would look with posing one of their 3D models as reference, I've done it a few times in the past mostly to check if proportions look okay and/or if the pose in the angle would work like that if I couldn't find a fitting ref, for this I kinda went with posing the model in a way I'd like to draw and ended up using that as pose reference, was a pretty interesting experience! :D 

here's a screenshot of the art with the posed model ref for comparison! ? it's not 1:1 the same obviously haha it worked pretty well as general reference :D

Something else this was a study doodle for was more experimenting with rendering, this is more close to what I'd call my 'default rendering' but I still took some minor influence from other things and included some things I recently learned ?

for the next study doodle I'll most likely go for a furry character to balance things out, haven't decided on who yet though
