Rivet - Fanart July + August 2023

Rivet was chosen as the winner for July's Fanart poll winner! I do love Rivet a lot, imo, she's kinda the perfect character -- tough gal, mechanic, has a big ol' hammer and uses huge guns and stuff. She's pretty good...

Though admittedly, I do gotta address my recent slow pace on the fan art polls -- you're probably wondering "woah what, this was supposed to be for July?? It's September!" and well...it's from a combination of things, really! To keep it simple, there's a few things that's been slowing me down lately:

1. I recently have picked up more additional professional work along side doing Patreon --  at the moment, Patreon content alone still isn't enough to fully support myself, so I have to commit to a balancing act between Professional Work + Patreon! (I hope to reveal more details about what Im working on soon!!!)

2. I'm officially knee deep in writing the first few chapters of Roaring Spirits! I'm currently writing its outline for the direction of the beginning of the story and more "pitch bible" goodness, and I plan to begin inking and publishing pages before the end of the year.

3. Rivet was kind of hard to draw haha. She's got quite a bit of detail to her and evidently, I had gone through several ideas before landing on the final drawing. I know I said I would go easier on these, but I can't help myself... perfectionist attitude.

Any who, Renamon is the next character I'm drawing, and I will probably be doing yet another double fanart feature for Sept + Oct  for my own sake, and since I'm also doing more Roaring Spirits art on top of everything else. Busy busy.... I'll probably ask for suggestions again later today for Sept + Oct, so look forward to that!!
