Side by side

Life isn't easy for these two. Small and not the most intimidating. Not to mention one of them is a goblin. But love knows no bounds and these two stuck together no matter what obstacles stood in their way. A cleverly and magic conjuring halfling hand in hand with a goblin who knew not what he was but what foes he struct down with the skills he possessed with many weapons. With a prophecy looming over the halflings shoulders, he could not find rest until he seized the inevitable from happening. If only it were easy to keep the future from being, from existing. 

The ability to control the future must exist out there and only the hungry, only the starved can find it. He wouldn't dare possibly think he could do this at first... but with the support of his loving partner he knew it was possible. There was a chance against all odds and gosh darn-it it was enough to pursue it. He knew taking in the goblin as his partner would hurt his chances but he couldn't dream of doing this with anyone else. He knew the goblin was dedicated, but the love such a small creature could hold was bigger than any dragon or giant out there.

Some nights it was near impossible to get some rest... the thoughts and nightmares that flooded the poor little wizard was enough to ruin even the most keen intellects. But he had something most other clever minds didn't have.
