He’s probably Tom-san’s grandfather.

Tom’s grandfather passed away when Tom was still little,

and his father also died when Tom was around 15 to 18 years old.

He ended up taking over the repair shop that his grandfather and father had run.

Because of that, he’s put aside things like love and relationships in his life.
