Finally, we get some names!
All of these guys have appeared in past concept work, so they shouldn't be too surprising for those of you paying attention. Though I'd love to give more details about each of them, it's definitely spoilers, so I'll just point out that though they are all closely associated with Aphaelia and the tower library, each archmason has a distinct ideology
A quote from Oidecalla:
"Nothing CAN be lost. Everything will be REMADE, endlessly. There is no finale, no glorious end. Only fading embers, transfigured into a thousand shapes. We shall sit by the dimming fire of creation for as long as we can feel its warmth. And as darkness and firmament gave way to light and greenery, the end of this world will be a slope back into gentle darkness. The purpose of life is to meet that end with gratitude for our fleeting pleasures, for there is no virtue in suffering for something that cannot last.”
A quote from Sodon:
“Fear naught but weakness. Know its countenance in your own actions. Those who say “I fear nothing” learn nothing. Woe ye who respect the tree and scoff at the splinter! For which is more likely to lodge itself in your eye?”
A quote from Laurientus:
“My Lord is the lord of weakness, one who knows the arrogance of the strong, the cruelty of those who have never been burdened by impotence. My Lord has risen from the depths of the firmament to sit on the highest mountain, to be enthroned amongst the stars themselves, and He has not forgotten his meek and mild devotees, for the weak are many, and the strong are few. Now, it is the time of my Lord, to upend the order of things, to displace the strength of the few with the devotion of many, for indeed strength is isolation, and in weakness one finds many friends."
A quote from Rhodowyn:
“Not all that is good is wise, and not all that is evil is foolish; nonetheless, one ought to do good. The sun shines on the saints and the sinners alike. Death will meet them both. At the end, all are accounted for, all sums are added, and all debt is relieved. Who can say otherwise?”
A quote from Astheopithicus:
"Must every strike of the sculptor be questioned? Each stroke is neither good nor evil, except as it contributes to the whole, and who can see the whole before it is made but the sculptor himself?”
