Next few pages are going to set up the premise for this comic, hopefully while giving us some hints about who these fellows are. Leily wasn't a major player when I wrote the first draft of this comic, but for someone as tight-lipped as Roshim, I found having a third wheel helped convey more information to the reader
In my other stories, the relationships between characters were built before our eyes; we got to see what happened as it happened. In this story, Roshim and Avalon have a complicated set of dynamics that are already established between them, and so Leily acts as a wedge to help introduce us to them
