What Do You Think About the Genre Called "Netorare (NTR)"?

Have you ever heard of a genre called Netorare, or NTR for short?

In these stories, a character’s romantic partner is taken away or seduced by someone else — often creating feelings of jealousy, betrayal, or powerlessness.

It’s definitely not something most of us would want to experience in real life... but as a storytelling genre, it has a surprisingly strong fanbase.

このジャンルでは、登場人物の恋人やパートナーが他の誰かに奪われたり、誘惑されたりすることで、嫉妬・裏切り・無力感といった感情が描かれます。

現実では、ほとんどの人が体験したくないようなことですが……物語のジャンルとしては、意外と強い支持を得ています。
