Jihl was complicated for me. She looked bad in certain angles I envisioned. Could be just my lighting (skill issue). So I tweaked her a lot and lost count on how many times I redo her renders. Decided to make1 extra. it was a scrapped animation, but I wasted too many hours fixing her that I don't know what I find unsatisfactory at the end. maybe in 2 or 3 months time, when I come back and look at it again, I'll notice what it is and learn from it.

And I like Jihl. Or more like girl with glasses. If that's not apparent already with me animating Aranea wearing glasses a lot.

NEW MODEL

This week's new model is SCATHACH. a Dunscaith raid boss.

Like any FF14 boss models before Stormblood, she is super low poly and her texture is super blurry. Tried using A.I to upscale and enhance the texture quality a little bit, but the end result is still too blurry. So I end up just try to hide them with metalic shader. At some point in the future, I might just animate her without the body suit.

I know 6.5 patch is out for FFXIV and I've been browsing the net to see the new Twelves. CMIIW, From what I saw, the only lady here is Lymlaen. I'm not even sure what Eulogia gender is much like Titania from Shadowbringers. Anyway, I'll rig Lymlaen sooner or later. She looks cool. exactly my type.

NOTE about filehosting.

It seems porn3dx has a lot of problems lately. so I might need to search for an alternative site to host small mirrors.The site feel sluggish. and I don't even know if my videos have been succesfully uploaded or not. So if the porn3dx link doesn't work, try the catbox ones. However, I know people are also having trouble with catbox links without VPN. The truth is, I also use VPN to upload on catbox.

.....I guess I also need to find alternative for catbox as well?

The reason I use catbox is because it is faster for me to upload. I have slow internet. Even the memable Australian internet is more reliable than mine. it's just how it is here. It's normal for us. I'd be lucky if I get 1mbps upload speed at times. I don't know how else to explain this. FFXIV was a nightmare to play at certain hours back then.sometimes I can' t even play at all. yet somehow Catbox just works. it is slow, but it rarely fails.

So anyway, I tried Gofile and it's been hit or miss for me. The uploads failed too often at slow speed. Another suggestion such as Redgif is also bad in my region.

Any site based on NA beside catbox / porn3dx tend to give me problems for some reason. Some are even blocked. And not many host sites are okay with lewd content.

So I'll keep uploading to catbox unless I find a good unlimited alternative. As for porn3dx, idk if I could continue using the site at it's current state. They say they are fixing it, but it's been 2 weeks so it's probably a problem on my end.

UPCOMING

Time for another Monthly Aranea. After Aranea, maybe 1 or 2 FF14 characters...or 3. We'll see. I decided to go with the Yor costume this month. But who knows maybe I'll add an extra just like Jihl.
