A Race to the Bottom

Hi all,

Hope you’ve been well.

During my break I accidentally made a new comic. This was originally meant to be a commission concept, but I liked it a little too much and decided to keep it for myself.

It’s a bit more left field than usual and lands firmly in the “race change + consequences” category. This was also my first proper go at an Indian character, which turned into both a technical experiment and… let’s call it an emotional endurance test. The story’s bleak, but I’m genuinely happy with how the character and visuals turned out, and I’d absolutely use her again.

Despite being fairly short, this one was a production nightmare in the best way: way too many environments, outfits, and side characters for something that was supposed to be “quick”.

Curious to hear what you think — and whether you’d want to see more of Carol, voluntarily or otherwise.

I’ll be back to regular updates on the other comics later this month or early January.
