Photography is a disease.

September 2023, shooting number 18 with Martina, this is the corridor sequence.
In this case I had to create the light artificially, using my spotlights (I believe I had already a couple at the time...)
The quality of the Leica SL2-S sensor is not so impressive at 1.600 ISO, but overall I like the images and the concept, and Martina was a great partner in crime as usual, bringing her craftswomanship on the table.

In the future, I might consider bringing with me also a tripod for the camera, at least the medium format GFX, because that would allow me to reach an even higher level of quality.
Of course I prefer the freedom of moving around the model, and IBIS (sensor stabilization) on most of my cameras to avoid accidental shakes but, in standardized situations like this, having a fixed camera can help me also in having more accurate framing, because by hand I tend to inadvertently tilt the camera or cut out some limb.
I might do some experiments in the hotel room during the next shooting on June the 12th, so I have time to decide if it is worth the effort before taking it on errands like the abandoned asylum of Limbiate.
I might manage to take Barbora there, because she loves urban style of shootings, and I'm sure, in that majestic location, a tripod can make a huge difference.

I knew that the medium format camera was going to make my life much more difficult, and I'm already getting in a whole new frame of mind...
I just hope it is going to be worth the hassle, because the first photo of Barbora on the GFX posted on regular social media did not receive the enthusiastic welcome I anticipated.
Either the photo was too much implied nude for my regular followers, or I was overhyped with details the general public don't care about.
Whatever the reason, I feel it is my duty to persevere in the direction my passion is taking me on, regardless of the reaction of my wider audience, or the commercial success of my enterprise.
This project is fueled by a genuine passion for photography of nudes, and such should stay in the future, just hope I don't get the Leica Monochrome virus anytime soon, because that would be a let down for at least 75% of my over 50,000 followers!
