There are plans for 4 parts, maybe only 3... and it will probably take a while until they are all out. Chapter 5 is big, and it has to be big, because it brings together everything I've thought of for this series. There are many storylines that have been building up over a long time, and some new important ones. I always imagined the first few chapters of Gem Knights as a “prologue,” and to a certain extent, this one is still part of that. I wanted to create a few chapters in which the main themes of the main characters are clearly presented with as few side stories as possible... I hope I succeeded lol But this chapter is different. It not only shows Amber's character and her motives, but also the main theme surrounding the “Gem Knights” series itself. We can expect a lot of corruption (Amber has a lot to deal with lol), many stories, and many endings. I have set myself the goal of no longer holding back when it comes to storytelling. I believe that many people who have read these comics will find this Chapter particularly interesting. Visually, a lot has changed too. We don't need to talk about how my comics used to be a bit worse in quality than they are today, but this time around, there are a lot of new things that you can already see here in the teaser.
