The Apple of Aphrodite [TEASER]

Here are a few more teaser pages from The Legend of Baba-Set. Here we see Aphrodite's gambit with the Golden Apple (though obviously you don't get any dialogue). You also see Baba moving with his new, more ape-like posture.

My plan is for the apple to essentially be a love potion, or some way for Aphrodite to exert her influence over Baba. The question I am still working out is -- how does she trick Baba into eating it? Is it a symbol of truce? I she telling Baba it will give him some special powers? Is she surrendering her priestesses to him, or claiming to?

My drafting process is highly visual, so I usually don't work out specific dialogue or even plot beats until after I have drawn them. The pace of the comic is usually decided on a panel-by-panel, page-by-page visual basis rather than by scripting. So whatever conclusion I come to, it'll be something I add at the final scripting/dialogue stage.
