Merida [Color Pin-up]

The Disney series continues!

This look for Merida might feel a little tamer than some of the others in this series, but it’s inspired by a certain aesthetic that was really prevalent when I was in college, and I always found it really hot.

Plus, Merida is such a cute and lively character, I realized early on in the design stage that a sultry look really wouldn’t work for her — she needed to have wide eyes and a bright face, and this look flowed from that. The story, as always, flowed from the look.
