I think Harem Daenerys won the 800 Followers Character Poll, edging out Christina Hendricks/Jean Grey by just a few votes. In the future, I may pick the top 3-4 options from the comments section and hold an official run-off poll, just to keep things clear.

The rate I've been gaining followers has slowed a bit, but I still anticipating hitting that 800 mark some time before the end of this week, which is very exciting! Khaleesi will be ready to go when we cross that threshold.

It's been a while since I drew Dany, and I think my skills at capturing and rendering likenesses have somewhat improved since GOT: Blacked came out. The Daenerys pin-ups I did back in 2019(?) were far more cartoonsh than this upcoming one. For me, the coloring work of Adam Hughes remains my north star. Keeping linework minimal and relying on shading and coloring to render likeness and form has helped me move my style a little bit forward, I think. I'm also trying to be more patient, less lazy, and using different brushes rather than just relying on one brush for everything (duh).
