Naruto: Copy System#751+752: The Sharp-Tongued Yoruichi Shihōin, That's a High Compliment Coming from Me
Shin now understood just how fierce the competition was among the great noble families of the Seireitei.
If the Shihōin clan lost its main pillar, even as one of the great noble houses, it would inevitably decline. Kiyotaka was hoping Shin could support the family.
Shin didn't really have a problem with that. He had a good impression of Kiyotaka Shihōin, so helping him out was no big deal.
"Thank you, Shin. I'll be on my way, then. I'll leave this child, Yoruichi, in your care." Kiyotaka Shihōin coughed a few times before speaking to Shin.
At the same time, he couldn't help but sigh. His son was a disappointment, lacking talent and strength. He was in no position to inherit the clan leadership, leaving all their hopes pinned on Yoruichi, who was born with immense spiritual power.
With that, Kiyotaka Shihōin departed, and the previously prim and proper Yoruichi let out a huge sigh of relief.
"Whew, Grandpa's finally gone. I can finally relax."
Because she was seen as the family's last hope, her training was exceptionally strict, forcing Yoruichi to be extremely reserved in Kiyotaka's presence.
"Hey, what can you even teach me?" Yoruichi hopped right onto the table, looking at Shin with a curious expression.
Shin simply lifted a finger and flicked her on the forehead. A red welt instantly appeared.
"From now on, remember to call me 'Sensei'."
"Ow, that hurt! I'm not calling you Sensei! I'm gonna tell my grandpa you're bullying me!" Yoruichi whined, clutching her forehead with crocodile tears in her eyes.
"Telling him won't do you any good," Shin said, pinching Yoruichi's small cheek.
"Since your grandfather asked me to train you, I'll be very strict. I hope you can handle it."
Hearing Shin’s words, Yoruichi felt a shiver of fear and instinctively took a few steps back.
"Don't worry, you won't get hurt during training. My Kidō is quite good. And if your injuries are too severe to heal, I know the captain of the 4th Division," Shin said with a smile.
Yoruichi found this even more terrifying and retreated further, watching Shin with extreme caution.
"Relax, I'm just messing with you. I'm actually quite gentle with little girls."
Seeing that he had genuinely scared her, Shin said with a laugh. He really was just trying to tease her.
"Oh, what's this? Another kid? Shin, where did you find this one? If Captain Unohana finds out, you're toast."
Shunsui Kyoraku's somewhat lazy voice drifted in.
"What the hell are you doing in my squad's barracks?" Shin looked up, shooting Shunsui Kyoraku an annoyed glare.
"To take you out for some sake and women, of course," Shunsui said, a sleazy grin spreading across his face.
"..." Yoruichi shot a disdainful look at Shunsui, and while she was at it, she gave Shin one too.
In Yoruichi's eyes, Shin was suddenly no better than the sleazy captain. Though she was young, she knew exactly what "sake and women" meant.
Noticing Yoruichi's gaze, Shin’s glare at Shunsui turned even darker. It was all this guy's fault—now he was being looked down on by Yoruichi.
"Have some decency. If you're not going to think about yourself, at least think about the members of the 8th Division," Shin said to Shunsui.
Besides, Shin had no interest in Shunsui's idea of a good time. He'd gone with him a few times before, and it was just drinking while watching some geishas sing and dance—a far cry from what he had imagined. So, he had no interest.
But because of this, Shunsui and the entire 8th Division were now on Retsu Unohana's blacklist.
The 4th Division refused to treat any member of the 8th Division, which meant the members of the 8th Division were terrified of getting injured. They were starting to resent their captain, Shunsui Kyoraku. Of all the people to offend, why did you have to piss off the 4th Division? Don't you know you never mess with the doctors? They were the ones who patched you up.
"You must be from the Shihōin clan, right?" Shunsui, seeing Shin ignore him, turned his attention to Yoruichi.
"Hmph, you creep."
Yoruichi gave Shunsui a disdainful look, then turned away, as if looking at him would dirty her eyes.
Shunsui was incredibly embarrassed.
"Not a very cute kid, are you? I prefer the cute ones."
"Heh. I feel sorry for anyone you actually like,"
Yoruichi shot back, her tongue as sharp as a blade. The insult left Shunsui even more embarrassed.
"Forget it. I'm not going to stoop to your level and argue with a child." Shunsui didn't want to bicker with Yoruichi. After all, if he won, he’d be bullying a kid. If he lost, it would be even more humiliating.
"By the way, why is she here?" Shunsui asked Shin.
"I'm her teacher now. I'll be training her to get stronger," Shin said, not hiding anything from Shunsui.
Hearing this, Shunsui became thoughtful. Don't let his lazy exterior fool you—he was incredibly sharp. Otherwise, he never would have become the Head-Captain in the future.
"I see."
"I haven't acknowledged you as my teacher yet," Yoruichi said to Shin, dissatisfied. In her eyes, Shin didn't seem strong at all.
Sure, he had a captain's haori, but his gentle smile and relatively slender build didn't exactly scream power. Not like some guys who looked intimidating at a glance.
But often, the most dangerous people were the ones who seemed harmless—like Aizen. Shin had met Aizen, who was now just a regular member of the 5th Division. He was completely unremarkable, showing no hint of his true nature.
"This is a rare opportunity. My treat. Are you sure you don't want to go?" Shunsui asked Shin again.
"Forget it. If you want someone to go with you, go find Jushiro Ukitake," Shin said, waving him off.
"How could that guy ever go with me?" Shunsui shook his head. Jushiro would never go with him. After all, he was an honest man who would never go to such a place. Shunsui had asked him several times, but he had never been able to persuade him.
"Alright, don't disturb my work here. It seems the 8th Division is too idle. I'll have to tell Old Man Yamamoto to give you more work," Shin said, glancing at Shunsui.
"Don't, Shin, please don't stir up trouble! I was wrong, I'll leave right now. I won't bother you anymore. I was just trying to be nice, and you're treating me like I'm trying to ruin you." Shunsui quickly left.

Watching Shunsui's retreating figure, Shin shook his head.
'I'm not trying to ruin your fun, I'm trying to save your life. If I had actually gone with you, Unohana would probably be storming the gates of the 8th Division by now.'
After sending Shunsui away, Shin turned his gaze to Yoruichi.
"What do you want?" Yoruichi retreated a few steps, looking incredibly wary, as if afraid of what Shin might do to her.
"What are you worried about? A little kid like you with nothing to offer—what do you think I'd do? You don't have what it takes to get my attention."
Shin said with a dismissive glance.
"Hey, that's a horrible thing to say! A guy like you will never find a girlfriend." Yoruichi was genuinely angered.
She looked down at her own figure. Sure, she was flat as a board, but she was still young. She definitely wouldn't be like this in the future.
Wait, why did she care so much? A well-developed figure would just be a burden, right? To some extent, it would affect her combat ability, especially for the Hakuda-specializing Shihōin clan.
"Alright, it's time to start our training," Shin said to Yoruichi.
Since he had already promised Kiyotaka Shihōin to train her, Shin wouldn't just go through the motions.
"I know."
Yoruichi didn't refuse. Her grandfather had a reason for sending her here. Though she had initially doubted Shin's strength, after some thought, she no longer believed he was weak. If he were, her grandfather would have never sent her here.
"Let's start with your physical conditioning."
Shin began to create a training plan for Yoruichi, and at the same time, he studied the Shihōin clan's Shunko. Kiyotaka had specifically given it to him, so there was no way he wouldn't learn it.
It was a combat technique that combined Kidō and Hakuda. But Shin remembered this was a technique Yoruichi had invented. Why did the Shihōin clan already have it? He couldn't figure it out, so he decided to drop it.
Though he knew the technique, practicing it was still a bit difficult. But for Shin, learning it wasn't hard.
The Shadow Clone Jutsu was perfect for learning any technique.
"What do you think of my clan's technique?" Yoruichi asked Shin with a hint of pride.
"Hmm, it's not bad," Shin gave a decent evaluation, which made Yoruichi slightly dissatisfied.
"That's it? You think it's just 'not bad'?"
"What else? That's a high compliment coming from me. At its core, it’s just a technique for explosively releasing spiritual power."
After studying it thoroughly, Shin spoke. He could even create a similar technique himself.
"You're so annoying," Yoruichi said, scratching Shin's arm like a little cat to vent her frustration.
"Don't forget, I'm your teacher now. Aren't you afraid I'll retaliate?" Shin asked Yoruichi playfully.
"You wouldn't do that, would you?"
Yoruichi shrank back, looking at Shin with some fear. Though he was handsome, in her eyes, he was incredibly annoying.
"Just kidding. I'm not that petty. I wouldn't bully a child."
Shin patted Yoruichi's little head. Though he could be a scoundrel at times, he wouldn't bully Yoruichi.
"Even though you say you won't bully me, I don't really believe you," Yoruichi glanced at Shin, her eyes filled with suspicion.
"Alright, get to training. This used to be my rest time, and now I'm wasting it on you."
Shin sent Yoruichi off to train. She needed to absorb spiritual particles to increase her spiritual pressure, but since she was still young, he wouldn't push her too hard in this area.
When Yoruichi grew up, her spiritual pressure would naturally increase. Yoruichi's talent was actually quite good, even by Shin's standards. Especially her talent in Hakuda, and her talent in Shunpo was also extremely high.
But as for her talent in swordsmanship, Shin felt it was better not to mention it. It was truly terrible, like trying to carve a rotten piece of wood.
As for Kidō, Shin hadn't tested it. After all, with her current spiritual pressure, she couldn't release any powerful Kidō.

In the blink of an eye, ten years passed. In these ten years, Shin had the added task of training Yoruichi, which was a real pain. It took up so much of his time that he barely had any to visit the 4th Division.
"Finally sending you off to the Shin'ō Academy. I'll have a lot more free time now," Shin said with a smile.
Yoruichi Shihōin was no longer the little girl from back then; she had blossomed into a young woman. And though her skin was dark, she was a true beauty. Shin, however, had long since become immune to beautiful women.
"I didn't realize you were so tired of me," Yoruichi said, glancing at Shin with a hint of annoyance.
"It's good that you know now. Don't bother me anymore. I've taught you everything I can."
Shin took a sip of tea, then gestured to Yoruichi.
"You're really treating me like a servant," Yoruichi said as she poured tea for Shin, glaring at him irritably.
"I worked hard to teach you. Letting you pour me a cup of tea shouldn't be too much to ask, right?" Shin shrugged.
"Even though I'm going to the Shin'ō Academy, I'll still come back." After saying that, Yoruichi agilely left.
"Whew, I should go to the 4th Division."
Shin put down his teacup and headed towards the 4th Division. The current Seireitei was indeed boring; there were no wars.
Perhaps others enjoyed this peace, but Shin wished for something interesting to happen.
"Good day, Captain Shin."
As soon as he arrived at the 4th Division, Shin was greeted by many people. He smiled. There really were a lot of girls in the 4th Division.
Among the thirteen squads, the 4th Division had the most women. Many female Soul Reapers who didn't like to fight naturally joined the 4th Division.
He smiled and greeted every Soul Reaper. Of course, the only reason he did so was because they were all beautiful. If they were all men, Shin wouldn't have bothered.
"You haven't been here in a long time."
As soon as Shin pushed open the door and entered Retsu Unohana's office, she looked up at him.
Though Unohana didn't show it too obviously, Shin could still feel a hint of resentment from her.
"Ahem, I was busy training Yoruichi, so I didn't have much time." Shin wasn't making excuses; he was really tied up with that little wildcat Yoruichi and had no time.
