Build a Barbarian: Sponsorships

 Professional fishermen are a popular source of entertainment in U'Qai. Wearing sponsored clothing and gifted equipment, some gain popularity through their fishing skill, while others bring humour and exaggerated reactions to the sport.  

Colloquially, they're known as "streamers".

Advertising in U'Qai is universally stitched on deep red fabrics,  to contrast the beiges, browns and greys covering the city. While the advertising seems almost nonsensical to an outsider, the incomprehensible runes and markings provide an immediate shorthand to any native onlooker. Places like the Shouting Quarter are lined with gigantic roll-outs of red cloth to take advantage of the gathered crowds.
