In the last few weeks of her pregnancy our favourite breeder in denial has to stay calm and  endure the company of one of the young shaman apprentices. The apprentice will be the one to help her give birth to the baby when the time comes and keeps her safe if she feels the need to play warrior doe again. 

The formerly male warrior thinks the presence of the apprentice is quite the burden as she is trying to convince her that being a mother is one of the most beautiful things in the world. The ability to bear life is only possible for does like her. Mothers are the greatest warriors of the tribe who have to protect the young and innocent.

The scene itself is that the heavily pregnant doe is having a bath in the shallow waters of a nearby small forest lake. The shaman apprentice is with her as always. The soon to be mother doe is starting to believe in what the apprentice claims and thinks that maybe becoming a mother wouldn't be so bad after all. She tells her the fears that are in her about being a mother. She doesn't know how to be a good mother and fears the pain of childbirth. The apprentice comforts her. Finally when the doe accepts her fate and places her hand on her big belly her water breaks and the birthing begins, making her panic."
