Body Swap - Squad 12's Secret Weapon (Part 1)

Here's part 1 of a Bleach body swap commission.

Sosuke Aizen's plan nears its climax as the remainder of his Arrancar army invades the human world, where the Gotei 13's remaining Shinigami are waiting for him. After several long battles, the Segunda Espada, Baraggan Louisenbairn, has lost his entire Fracción, leaving him and the other 2 top Espada, Coyote Starrk & Tier Harribel (and their respective subordinates) the main remaining threat besides Aizen and his cohorts. The battles against the top Arrancar are difficult and the Shinigami find themselves largely overwhelmed. Just as things look especially dire, Akon of the Gotei 13's Squad 12 arrives with an experimental device he'd received from his Captain, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and promptly uses it, ensured that it would change the tide of the battle, though he does not actually know what it does.

The effect soon becomes apparent, however, as the remaining Arrancar begin acting wildly out of character in the aftermath. Mayuri's invention seems to have scrambled the spirit energy of any Hollows in the area, swapping their bodies at random, ostensibly to grant the Shinigami a huge advantage against their confused opponents. The affected Arrancar do not take it well.
