Long Rest, Anyone?

December! It's the Friday of the year, if you think about it. Don't think about it too hard. In any case, it's nearly here.

It's around this time of year I like to check in with the two bears who live on Vancouver's Grouse Mountain. Grinder and Coola are two dude bears who, as December draws near, settle down for their extended winter nap. Bears usually hibernate alone and these guys are offered multiple spaces to make their dens, yet they still choose to snooze together in a big heap, and I think that's nice.

Much like Grinder and Coola, after a year of rising and grinding, everyone deserves a rest. Better yet, a Long Rest: eight hours of sleepy downtime, to recuperate and regenerate their spell slots.
