It's that magical pre-Halloween time of year when I start to think baking would be a good idea and the work Slack is full of aspirational Home Depot lawn ornaments. Andy tells me 9-Foot Werewolf is the new 12-Foot Skeleton and who am I to argue.

In that vein, next Friday's live stream is the last of the September streaming schedule, and we're looking forward to a cosy seasonal stream with a game of your choosing.

There are two! Count them! Two! New games that let you own and run a charming fantasy tavern and they both look like an absolute treat for an autumnal Friday evening.

There's Ale & Tale Tavern, a first-person tavern sim with co-op play, mixed with more conventional action game bits - exploration and quests - plus fishing and cooking.

There's Tavern Manager Simulator, a first-person tavern sim that's more fully focused on renovating and running a cosy tavern for your carousing adventurer guests.

And last but not least, house renovation sim House Flipper 2, which doesn't have any taverns but I'm confident we can decorate and furnish something similarly snug and rustic in it.
