Misadventures of Helene & Hampt #2 Coverart

Today I managed to finish the A cover for the new Helene & Hampt issue! :)
I was struggling to come up with a cool background when suddenly the most ideal concept hit me. Use pages from the comic itself as a backdrop. Legendary, truly.

This drawing was something I drew in my sketchbook a while back when the first comic was just about done and I already knew what the second one would be about.
It of course has some adjustments and changes from the sketch. Helene's arms and head have been moved to be less awkward-looking, and Hampt just doesn't have a gun because he isn't wielding one in the comic.

Update: There were a few things I found I wasn't happy with so I went back and changed some shading and made Helene's hair a bit shorter since I thought it looked a tad too long.
Added a color gradient to the background to complete the focus on Helene. The film reels in the BG now also have other panels from the comic than just the in-movie ones. :)
