Appreciating the old 811 art??
Hellooooooo again! Tomorrow (May 14th) is 811’s anniversary, so these past few days I’ve been compiling aaaaaall my old sketchbook art, scanning everything, and determining which pieces I wish to keep or not. Added some sneak peaks, and I'm hoping to continue to show more "creating x character throughout the years" compilations like I did with Leon. And my scanner helps with that SOOO much:D
It would be a lie if I said I didn't cringe here and there with a few pieces. ?But I cherish a lot of my old art, remembering how it brought me to where I am today, and seeing the evolution of my characters is nice. I get to appreciate them so much more knowing they weren't perfect from the beginning, just like me with art! hahaahhaha.
?More descriptions below!
1-3. Old piece, possibly around 2020. The original is in the third picture, and the updated version are the first two images. Wanted to honor this piece, so I used markers over the old colored pencils, bedazzled and framed it (gotta clean the frame, I know hahah)
4. 2021 Vittorino possibly? Charcoal. The scanner makes the image more intense, and thinking of selling this off.
5. Sick ass Beetle doodle I found. Would make a great tattoo! Or sticker.
6. Thinking of selling old sketchbook pages with future 811 mystery bundles. I have only two remaining Accardi pillow covers, so, I wanted to make these extra special:) Will be on my shop uhhhhhhh, sometime in the future. Whenever I get around to it, hahahah.
