Secret sketch of the month❄️

For December’s secret sketch I wanted to show you one of my favorites from the sketchbook. This was a study of the statue Hexe (Witch) by the artist Karl Cauer, from 1874.

I feel so inspired by the classic look of statues, specially the gaze of the faces and that particular beauty standard/facial structure.
