Basic guide on tonal values
Hi guys!
As promised here's a guide on tonal values so you can understand the way I use my shading technique. I'll make sure to keep updating information about my drawing process!
Although there's going to be a poll soon, make sure to recommend me topics to work with if you have an specific doubt✨
About this drawing:
I did this one about half a year ago. Faber-Castell sent me their new set of matt graphite pencils and I was so excited to try them! I had never used mat pencils before and also, as some of you may know, I mostly work with mechanical pencils on my sketches. That's why I chose a contrasted picture, with lots of cast shadows, to work on a scale with different pencils as I used to do on my early days. It's a good way to start if you want to study!?
