Jessie Rasberry: Extended Set. Feet Reveal.
It took most of a day but I learned a lot and am very happy with the results. I mentioned some complaints I had with this model. I fixed my biggest complaint. In the process, I learned how rig and weight paint properly. The number of applications of this knowledge is massive and it will assist me in creating my own models and assets in the future.
Jesse's ponytail was rigged so poorly, it was essentially unposable. Now it swings around beautifully.
Editing her feet in Blender was essentially impossible because her clothes are grafted to her body. That's not to say that we won't see her n@ked, but I have to delete the clothing completely for invisible body parts to reappear. I can't just hide the clothing as I do with other models.
Fortunately, I found a way to easily edit the mesh in DAZ, vertex by vertex. It took more time, but I didn't have to worry about a morph I spent an hour creating in Blender not importing properly due to compatibility issues. I ended up with a no-compromise sculpt. I'll do further editing on her arms once she gets out of most of her gear.
