Meet Sellen's new apprentice: Frey Holland
Forspoken wasn't a successful or popular video game. I can't say it wasn't good. I haven't played it yet. I watched a lot of game play of it though and liked what I saw. Whatever the game's flaws might be, I think we can all agree that Frey Holland is smokin' hot.
I took a deep dive into the world of VFX, VDB's and learning what it would take to get the many magic using characters I'm rendering to cast actual spells. There is not a lot of information about this, especially in the DAZ space. Most forums are dead ends with people giving up. I figured it out though. The original fireball I created in Blender was much more impressive. There are a lack of shading options once you port it into DAZ because only one DAZ shader can handle the VDB files that these fireballs are made out of.
So consider this a level one spell. Just like playing the game, the more time I put in, the more spells I can unlock as I level up with the characters.
I was also able to successfully create a sneaker morph. They were distorting badly around Frey's newly sculpted feet. Before, I'd either have to do a separate sculpt for each shot, or settle for a static shoe that wouldn't bend. These new sneaks flex fine and fit great.
We'll keep her in the sneaks for a while because this outfit rocks, but I promise the reveal won't disappoint.
