Every since reading The Bodyguard and A Taste of Gold and Iron, I'm a sucker for the bodyguard trope. Of course I am. It's a protective badass and usually some kind of murder or suspense plot. That's my catnip (or at least one of my favorite flavors of catnip). So when Ivy Knox commissioned me for a hot alien bodyguard and his disabled, sexy plus-size charge, it was an easy yes.
