MC☆あくしず63号

12月21日にMC☆あくしず63号が発売となりました！

今回は「純情ギャル戦車M4シャーマン vs. 健気な幼なじみ戦車 IV号戦車」特集ということでドイツのⅣ号戦車とアメリカのM4シャーマン戦車を解説しております。

MC☆AXIS No.63 went on sale on December 21st!

In this issue, we have a special feature on "Pure-hearted Gal Tank M4 Sherman vs. Healthy Childhood Friend Tank IV", in which I explain the German Tank IV and the American M4 Sherman tanks.

どちらの戦車も支援戦車として生み出されながら、戦争の進展に伴い機甲戦の屋台骨を支える主力戦車となっていきました。

Both tanks were created as support tanks, but as the war progressed they became the backbone of armoured warfare.

そしてその車体は多くの派生型を生み出したというところも似ています。

It is also similar in that its bodywork has spawned a number of derivatives.

Ⅳ号戦車とM4シャーマンという大きさも似ている戦車の構造や生い立ちを見比べてみるのも楽しいと思います。

It is fun to compare the construction and history of two tanks of similar size, the Tank IV and the M4 Sherman.

そしてⅣ号戦車の系譜の一つ、Ⅳ号突撃戦車(通称ブルムベア)の擬人化イラストを担当しました。

And I was in charge of the anthropomorphic illustration of one of the genealogies of the tank IV, the assault tank IV (commonly known as Brummbär).

By the way, speaking of the M4 Sherman, I love the touching scene in the movie "Life is Beautiful". If you haven't seen it, I think you should see it during the end of the year holidays. It's a very good film.
