おかげさまで安定して創作や仕事を行うことができております。

It's been three years since I started FANBOX.

Thanks to your support, I have been able to create and work in a stable manner.

初投稿はこんな感じでした。＜First post

先月、４月１９日より数日、久々に上京しました。

ちょうど緊急事態宣言が発出される直前のことです。

Last month, on April 19th, I came to Tokyo for the first time in a long time.

This was just before the emergency declaration was issued.

普段なら仕事の合間に友人と会い楽しく食事でもするところですが・・・打ち合わせ先の出版社やゲーム会社と取材先以外はずっとホテルで仕事をしていました。

なかなか寂しい出張です。

Normally, I would meet with my friends and have a nice dinner in between work...., but I spent all my time working at the hotel, except for the publishing company, game company, and the company I was meeting with.

It was quite a lonely business trip.

出版社の打ち合わせではなかなかおもしろい企画がまとまり、スタートすることになりました。これについてはまたの機会にお話したいと思います。

At the meeting with the publisher, I came up with a very interesting plan and decided to start working on it. I would like to talk about this at another time.

ちょうど打ち合わせの間に時間ができたのでスモールワールズ東京に行ってきました。

いろんな町並みや空港などが精密にミニチュアで再現され、背景画を描く上で非常に参考になる場所でした。

I had some time to kill between meetings, so I went to Small Worlds Tokyo.

It was a very helpful place to draw backgrounds, with various townscapes and airports precisely reproduced in miniature.

そしてこれ。

シン・エヴァンゲリオンをご覧になった方はおわかりになると思います。

And this.

If you've seen Shin Evangelion, you know what I'm talking about.

これは庵野秀明監督がカメラワークや画面レイアウトを模索するために作られたジオラマの実物です。

This is an actual diorama made by director Hideaki Anno to explore camera work and screen layouts.

このジオラマを庵野監督が見つめ、あれこれ試行錯誤したと思うと感慨深いものがありました。

It is deeply moving to think that Director Anno went through trial and error while looking at this diorama.

そして取材では陸上自衛隊の広報センターで１０式戦車の実物を仔細に見学してきました。これについては次号MC☆あくしず誌をお楽しみにです！

I also visited the Public Relations Center of the Ground Self-Defense Force to see the actual Type 10 tank in detail. Please look forward to the next issue of MC☆AXIS magazine for more details!

緊急事態宣言発出前ということもあり、見学は完全予約制になっておりほぼ独り占め状態で取材ができました。

Since it was before the declaration of the state of emergency, the tour was by appointment only, so I had the whole place to ourselves.

この広報センターはコナミ在籍時代にFPSを開発するために訪れて以来１５年ぶりの訪問でした。あれから随分と新しい装備が追加されており、楽しい見学になりました。

This was my first visit to this PR center in 15 years, since I visited when I was working for Konami to develop an FPS. A lot of new weapons has been added since then, and it was a fun visit.

みこやんのこれからのお仕事ですが、イカロス出版の連載に加え現在２つの案件とロングランのプロジェクトが１件進行中です。それぞれ公開するのがの楽しみなプロジェクトです。FANBOXはそれらの合間を縫って今までのように更新していこうと思います。

As for Mikoyan's future work, in addition to his series for Icarus Publishing, he is currently working on two projects and one long-running project, each of which he is looking forward to publishing.FANBOX will be updated leisurely between work as before.
