2016 Pokémon Horizon Author Yabuno Tenya
A relatively new work in the original Pokémon comic book series.
Set in the Alola region, the only character in common with the game is Dr. Kukui.
All other characters are original, and the story is also completely original.
The main character looks very Taichi and reminds me of V-Tamer ?.
Yabu no Tenya's comicalisation is consistently interesting.
I bought it about six months ago and finally read it. (Poke manga boom recently).
The first handheld is also Ivanko, not one of the three families (and it's someone else's Pokémon).
It's set up like Digimon, where after evolving you can freely return to the pre-evolution stage.
When I read the first episode, I was worried that this didn't catch fire at the time ?.
One of the characteristics of Yabu no Tenya's manga is that many of the characters have a broken sense of ethics!
That is also on full display in this work.
The main character has been acting badly from the very first episode, trying to fight other people's Pokémon that are hurt, forcing them to stop trying to put it back in the monster ball, and so on.
He relentlessly asks why they don't fight more. Or attacking them with.
When a trainer was worried about a wounded Ivanko jumping out of its cage after hearing information about a Pokémon running amok, the protagonist unlocked the lock and jumped out on his own, or when asked, ‘Why did you bring it?’ When asked ‘Why did you bring him here?’, the trainer replied ‘I just unlocked the lock, it was too tight’ with no sense of guilt.
Before he knows it, he has made Ivanko his Pokémon.
Moreover, the protagonist does not have any deep thoughts, and is a beginner with zero knowledge about Pokémon!
It's even worse when it's written down ?.
But it all works together somehow.
You can't be the protagonist of a children's manga unless you're as bad as this.
He's had a lot of experience with Digimon and Inaile.
The action scenes and direction are outstanding compared to other comic book artists.
Battles are intense, but neither enemies nor allies ever directly attack trainers.
If it were PokéSpec, they would attack the trainer before launching the Pokémon... but the people are different.
But then, in volume 2, the ban on direct attacks is lifted.
The protagonist is ridiculed by all the enemies as a ‘fake trainer, amateur trainer’.
It's really true, so when I read it, I feel like, ‘Yeah... you're right’.
The protagonist defeats everything with just one Ivanko until the end.
Maybe he's actually a great trainer.
It's only two volumes, but it's beautifully put together and very satisfying.
You can feel that the author has cut down the elements until the very last minute and packed it all in.
There are only abnormal people except the heroine, but they are interesting ?.
It is also important to note that the hero's partner evolves into a Lugargan (midnight form).
