Update (June 2023)
Lotta shit to get through, I'll try to keep it brief as per.
I've been working on a bunch of stuff for Pt.2 of the Marie animation. Nothing final right now, just a lot of groundwork being laid out. A couple of loops and a sequence or two for now, just to get an idea of focal lengths and framing. All very much a WIP of varying degrees, so please do keep that in mind.
I mentioned somewhere or other that I was working on a few other things on the side; the title image probably gives that away just a tad. I made the scene real quickly yesterday to run some tests in maya. I'm still real new to the workflow, and it's somewhat time consuming, but now actual collisions with realistic feedback are a possibility. Pretty neat.
As to where that leaves me, I'm a little uncertain in where to go from here. I'd rather focus my time and energy on a single project, so let me know what you want to see first, whether that be a specific shot from the Marie cuts, or some more physx sim stuff. I could certainly use the practice.
