WIP update

Yesterday was my day off work and of course a storm had to come in and constantly knock my internet and power out. The result was I didn't get as much animating done as I wanted. Still, I'm making good time considering I'm one guy animating for just a few hours a day.

Cause of how little I was able to get done yesterday I was actually quite motivated today and I got quite a bit done in the short time I had. I like how she looks when her starts to flip her over. Feels like the weight is good on the movement, I just need to tweak her hips a bit so she reacts when her grabs her. Right now her expressions are pretty basic, I want to go back in once I've finished the bulk of the animating and correct small stuff like how slow the eyes move or making it so she actually blinks from time to time. Stuff that sells expressions.

Hard to tell here but I also went back and adjusted the physics on the chest so they bounce more naturalistically. It wont affect the scene data though since it will use whatever settings the loaded in character has, but it bothered me how slight the movement was. I've considered going into maker and making her brows a bit thicker too since they're so thin it's hard to emote with them, but I don't want to edit the model too much.

Another trick I'm starting to use is animating the spine on the character so poses don't break. Having her face into the ground would cause her spine to bend in an unnatural way, so I rotated her spine bones and animated it. Nothing too special. I've posed them before for some scenes but never animated them as usually I keep the animation to 1 pose or similar poses. So using this for pose-shifting seems like it can work.

My work is slowing down a bit so I should have a bit more time each day to focus on animating than the last few weeks.
