Patreon Development Update 17.03.2023

Hello all, it's time for a new update on development. Some cool stuff is happening :)

Level: Bath House building has been reworked and now has a new blockout.
Mayor's Manor is currently being reworked as well.
We have finished concepts for the first set of furniture models for Umbar which we are modeling now.
The world rework is still ongoing.. less and less pink (placeholder objects) and adjusting the Adûn mountain region to the wishes of the Game Design department as well as general performance work.

Code: We are doing further research and debugging of character physics.

Sandbox: The player character will now show up in the editor outliner, meaning it can be edited and moved directly (but cannot be deleted). Saving a sandbox scene will also save the player's appearance and last position. This can be useful to create your own stories with characters other than Maya as the protagonist. This also fixed the issues people were having where character attached props were swapping characters or just got deleted.

Character: Started working on the new Dragonfly ambient creature.

Started producing the main game faction outfits, check out these concepts. The final in-game versions may differ as we give our artists plenty of artistic freedom when it comes to creating the 3d models for these.

Animations: Koodie Minigame is done, only a last few camera/sound/droop polishings remaining.

The Feral Bull animation set is done and we are now doing some NPC routine animations for the first quest batch.

Design: Finished Adûn blockout. Started to work on April’s quest batch.
