Been busy! Half of the year status updates!
First of all I wanna thank everyone for your support and patience, these past few months haven't been easy, especially since last year was probably one of the hardest years I had so far ever since I started making content, your support has meant the world to me and helped me through a lot of personal trouble. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
Second, you see that screenshot at the top? Well those are all short looping animations I made during the past few months when I had some free time. I will make sure to post them between this month and the next one as I have more time now.
Interestingly animating a short scene can be done in just a few hours if I have all the resources at hand (meaning not needing to make my own models or maps for each scene). The long process that constantly delays my animations is related to, as I mentioned, modifying, making and maybe even commissioning the 3D resources needed for multiple scenes. Commissioning voice actors, getting the audios depending on their own schedule, and the most tedious part, editing it myself.
That being said, during the past 3 months I had to make a few urgent choices in how I would invest this page's funds for the future of my content. Because as I've mentioned before, a few months ago, my computer started failing and components were honestly just dying off. I had to invest money in a new system, that meant I had to sacrifice time and money from commissioning voice actors and model porters to be able to continue to do this.

As you've seen, I did get a few worthy upgrades, but not all of the things in this screenshot are actually new (the headset and mouse are actually very old and I may sell them by now to get something better.
My previous goal was to upgrade my previous GPU, the good old RTX 2070, which was pretty good to be honest. Probably an ideal card if you plan to start working on blender now days (Although I would recommend a 3070 or 3060 for better price to performance value nowdays). But none the less, for me, it was not ideal considering the current power these new cards give you when it comes to 3D rendering and the consistency in which I wanted to work in my content.
This RTX 3080 was actually pretty cheap compared to other cards out there, and the performance jump was quite noticeable for me, from making renders at 1 minute per frame, to 20 to 30 seconds per frame, in cycles, insane.
Anyway, a total of 3 months of just having enough time to barely run my old pc, upgrade it and then work on short projects on the side. Which will remain soundless as I focus on bigger projects.
Meaning, all those clips from above are just side projects. The big ones are yet to come!
But on the bright side, before that failure and right about before the end this past month, I was able to commission some voice actors for a couple of long project ideas I had. Some of which I haven't even started yet, but none the less I was able to send some scripts and requests, and I've been sitting on all these audio files for a while now. I guess it's time for me to continue these projects.
I will make a new post, maybe a poll to name which projects I should do next.
In the meantime, let me know if any of those clips in the screenshot are of your interest, I may change the release order I had planned for them depending of you guy's interest ;)
