Community Update - May 2025

Greetings all! Time has really flown by this month, and it is time for our Monthly Update! First and foremost, we ended the month this weekend by learning we've been nominated for a CRIT Award....FOUR OF THEM! You can vote for us to win in these categories here!

We were thrilled to accept the nomination for Best Series for Fears & Fortunes! (you can find that here) and for Best Lyrical Song of the Year for the Fears & Fortunes intro! We were not surprised to hear that HowdyLoveDarlin was nominated for Best Player in a D&D stream, as she has been absolutely incredible as Sly in Fears & Fortunes!

The biggest and best surprise was to be nominated for Best Upcoming Twitch Channel. We started streaming only seven months ago, and to be noticed for the work we've been putting in and the quality of our productions so soon, has meant the world for us here and the cast for both F&F and Defenders of Phandelver!

Speaking of Defenders of Phandelver, the first season is halfway over, with the party finishing their raid on the Redbrand Hideout this weekend! Which included a visit to the new Hilltop Ruins map by the FA Battlemaps Team. These ruins were the perfect stand-in for the Tressandar Manor in Phandalin, but useable for anyone as a haunted ruin, or as a summoning circle for a strange cult!

The Battlemaps team also released their biggest map this year (if not biggest so far!), called Bank Complex! A massive map that takes you from the front steps of a city bank, past the lobby, through security and deposit boxes, all the way to the main vault! It's filled with traps and secrets, and is the perfect map for a thief campaign, or one for your player's to defend from a master thief!

Meanwhile, our Tokens Team has been hard at work, first with their latest NPC Townfolk pack which helped us fill in some of the citizens and characters of Phandalin! All available with color variants so you can reuse them as a wide variety of NPCs for your games!

But that's not all they've been working on, they also released the vicious looking Adversaries - Gnoll - Pack 1! With nine different variety of Gnolls to send at your players all in the name of Yeenoghu...or simply in the name of meat! You decide!

Lastly, our Assets Team has been continuing to relieve that itch many of us have....for new winter assets! With three separate updates this month, they brought us new winter textures, winter gear and weapons, and winter themed carts and containers!

And coming soon....sleds and igloos!
