Ginger Photo Shoot

What I have been doing for the last several months is rendering images or short animations and then using image to video models to help do the animation heavy lifting. The characters, sets, and props have all be rendered in Maya like all the animations I have been creating for years now. There still is a lot of work setting up the right shots and I have to run shots through the model dozens of times to get a product that I am happy with. That said, its a lot more fun for me then sitting there for hours and hours trying to make a character walk or wack-off in a convincing manner.

Anyway, I wanted to see if I could make an animation without relying on rendering characters and sets first. I wanted to try to generate more realistic looking characters and then animate them. This is the result of a week's worth of work doing that. It was fun, and I will do more, but its too hard to get consistency in the characters and sets (at least with the models I am using). So in the end, I was finding the output less fulfilling then using my Maya generated images/animations. Coming to that conclusion I stopped working on it and pivoted back to Growth Serum X. I did work with an inpainting model that I will be using moving forward which I'm really excited about.

I debated not sharing it, but I decided the ginger was too cute not to share :-).
